Job description

Our company is currently seeking ​an Procurement Specialist/ Office Administrator to join the team! You will be responsible for daily duties such as answering phones, interacting with vendors and clients, creating estimates and proposals, bill paying, as well as the general duties associated with working in an office.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain vendor quotes and creating client proposals which include detailed cost estimates and sample requests
  • Receive client payments and purchasing approved items and order requests as needed
  • On-going vendor communication regarding proposals, new orders and tracking for existing orders
  • Trouble-shooting for delayed items, damaged product and replacements
  • Coordinating receivers and movers for installations
  • Ordering samples and coordinating vendor appointments
  • Handling basic office requirements such as answering phones, ordering office supplies, bill paying, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, including being detail-oriented
  • Type 50 wpm
  • Strong problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and/or within a team
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Dropbox and Studio Designer (or other industry-related software)
  • Experience working for an interior design or architectural firm, or related industry (2-3 year minimum)
