Concierge / Front Desk Receptionist

The Elite ALF Cape Coral

Position: Full-Time
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Position Summary

The Concierge/Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional front desk, and supporting the daily administrative operations of our assisted living community.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Welcome residents, families, visitors, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and take accurate messages.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Monitor visitor sign-in and follow community security procedures.
  • Assist residents and families with questions and direct them to appropriate staff.
  • Receive and distribute mail and deliveries.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, copying, scanning, and data entry.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure timely follow-up on resident and operational needs.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Reception, customer service, or administrative experience preferred; senior living or healthcare experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Professional, dependable, and customer-focused with a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
