Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician 

Best Friends Animal Hospital and Pet Hotel

Fayetteville, AR

Part-time or Full time

Hours of Operation/Availability required 

  • Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–6:30 PM
  • Saturday: 7:00 AM–2:30 PM
  • Sunday: Closed
  • Every other Saturday is required

Qualifications:

  • Certified Veterinary Technician or experienced veterinary assistant preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting highly preferred

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide compassionate care to patients
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with appointments, treatments, and procedures
  • Perform patient care and monitoring
  • Assist with laboratory diagnostics and other clinical tasks
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized hospital environment
  • Communicate professionally with clients and team members
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture
