Job Details Our client in Fayetteville is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The Accounting Assistant will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with administrative duties in a professional office environment. The ideal candidate will have prior accounting experience and be comfortable working with accounting software and computer systems on a daily basis. Job Summary The Accounting Assistant will assist with bookkeeping, financial recordkeeping, and office support functions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. The Accounting Assistant will work closely with office staff to ensure accurate processing of financial information and smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and maintain accurate financial data in accounting software
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Review invoices, receipts, and other financial documents for accuracy
  • Reconcile records and help maintain organized accounting files
  • Support bookkeeping and general accounting functions
