Position: Dental Assistant
Location: Portland, Oregon
About Us:
We are seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. New graduates are welcome. Our office offers flexible hours from 6:45am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday, and provides comprehensive benefits including IRA matching and healthcare contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist dentists and hygienists during dental procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient appointments.
Take dental x-rays and maintain patient records
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Sterilize instruments and ensure a clean and organized dental environment.
Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
Support front desk operations with scheduling and patient inquiries.

Salary Range

Full-time $25 - $32 per hour

$25-29 for newly grads
$30-32 with experience assisting for experienced

Benefits

Receive IRA and health benefits with employer contributions.

Shift & Schedule

6:45am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday (negotiable)

Requirements
  • Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant

Completion of a dental assistant program or relevant certification.

Preferences
  • Eaglesoft

Eaglesoft experience is a plus; proficiency with dental software is beneficial.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
