Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with experience in labor compliance, including DIR requirements, DAS 140, Prelims. This role supports daily office operations and compliance reporting for public works projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Data entry, filing, and document organization
  • Answer and direct phone calls; provide customer service
  • Set up and maintain job folders
  • Prepare preliminary notices
  • Prepare initial certified payroll (CP) paperwork and compliance forms
  • Utilize LCPtracker to upload start up documentation
  • Request and track insurance certificates
  • Assist with employee badging
  • Support office supply inventory
  • Assist with billing and administrative tasks
  • Prepare notices and general communications
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Administrative experience required
  • Experience with DIR, prevailing wage projects REQUIRED
  • LCPtracker experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Preferred:

  • Construction or public works experience
  • Bilingual a plus but not required
