Description

Job Summary:

As a working manager, perform, train, and supervise staff to ensure the required overall maintenance duties are completed in a manner that maintains the facilities and equipment at the highest level of efficiency.

Hire, train, evaluate, and coach facilities staff on an ongoing basis to ensure expected performance.

Planning, scheduling, and delegating tasks through completion.

Develop and implement procedures and preventive maintenance schedules in conjunction with property and company

expectations.

Utilize and monitor the MaintainX work order tracking system to ensure work orders are handled based on the needs of the property. 

Train property staff to use the system.

Ensure compliance with applicable safety, fire, and building codes.

Assist with coordinating and supervising sub-contracted projects with direction from property and company management.

Assist with research, hiring and managing outside vendors as needed, using the company's required bidding process

Maintain and oversee purchasing and parts inventories.

Ability to operate and train on the use of multiple classifications of tools and equipment.

Ensure proper maintenance staffing based on property and company needs.

Be on-call for property maintenance emergencies.

Maintain accurate records for repairs, preventative maintenance, supply ordering, outside contracting/incident tracking.

Communicate with and meet the needs of all departments.

Work with regional facilities maintenance team to ensure the needs of the property are met.

Ability to work in confined spaces, extreme heat, heights, and in dimly lit areas.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.  


Requirements

Qualifications:

A minimum of two years' previous maintenance experience is required and must include supervisory experience.

Casino or hospitality maintenance experience is preferred.

Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner. 

Must possess a broad knowledge base of general preventative maintenance, repair, construction, electrical, plumbing needs. 

Must be able to initiate and complete maintenance tasks at a level expected by the Company. 

Must also train and ensure all maintenance staff have the skills needed to perform the maintenance duties included in their job description. 

Must be at least twenty-one years of age. 

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Required Work Cards/Licenses/Certificates:

Valid Nevada Driver's License

Valid Nevada Gaming Registration

Truckee Gaming authorization to drive company vehicles
