Job description

Crumbl is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team! This is full time position. If you have a passion for baking and want to help lead a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you.

The positions requires that you work 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm. Some overtime may be asked of you as well. We are looking for someone very reliable, who is organized and very detail oriented. You will be responsible for the main operations of the store on a day to day basis.

Assistant Manager Responsibilities

  • Effectively managing the production and operations of an operating Bakery
  • Delegating responsibilities and supervising business operations.
  • Maintaining knowledge and skills for baker positions and fills in as necessary
  • Training, motivating, and coaching employees as you provide attentive, efficient service to customers, assess employee performance and provide helpful feedback and training opportunities
  • Resolving conflicts or complaints from customers and employees
  • Monitoring store activity and ensuring it is properly provisioned and staffed.
  • Analyzing information and processes and developing more effective or efficient techniques and strategies
  • Establishing and achieving business and profit objectives
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy business, ensuring that signage and displays are attractive. Maintaining a clean store in line with local health district standards.
  • Generating reports and presenting information to upper-level managers or other parties
  • Ensuring staff members follow company policies and procedures
  • Other duties to ensure the overall health and success of the business
  • Doing the store ordering and inventory. Maintaining a good inventory while also not over ordering.
  • Having good communication with owners and managers about the health of the store, in all regards i.e. employees, sales, maintenance, etc.
  • Manage all day to day operations
  • Maintaining a positive attitude towards all owners, employees, vendors, customers and corporate.
  • Ability to take constructive criticism and willingness to always be learning new ways to improve your skills as a manger.
  • Being onsite and on the schedule a minimum of 40 hours a week
  • Being a example of great customer service
  • Showing initiative on growing and learning in your position.
  • Ability to physically do all the required positions in store, which include ; lifting heavy ingredients and equipment, working on your feet for long periods of time. Working with commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Being available to cover shifts last minute.

Assistant Manager Requirements

  • Previous experience managing others required
  • Must be 18 yrs old or older
  • Already have or willing to obtain a food safety permit.
  • Strong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles or willingness to be trained in those areas.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Time and project management skills
  • Must be very organized and thrive in keeping the crew and operations working and moving efficiently.
  • Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop practical solutions and strategies
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to customers and support to staff members
