Hybrid 3 days onsite in either Rockville, MD or McLean, VA

Our client seeks a senior Workday Analyst with deep Recruiting and Core HCM expertise to support functional delivery for a Phenom candidate sourcing platform implementation. The analyst will gather complex business requirements, guide configuration decisions, and drive testing and UAT through deployment. The role will partner with stakeholders and guide the team toward a scalable solution.

Rate: $85.00 to $95.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with recruiting leaders and FINRA stakeholders to understand talent acquisition workflow needs.
  • Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for Phenom integration with Workday.
  • Translate business needs into functional designs and configuration guidance.
  • Lead requirements review sessions and design walkthroughs with business teams and developers.
  • Coordinate testing activities and lead user acceptance testing.
  • Document solution designs, configuration decisions, and training materials.
  • Advise on recruiting ecosystem best practices and process optimization opportunities.
Experience Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Workday Recruiting and Core HCM analyst experience.
  • Expertise in talent acquisition processes, recruiting workflows, and candidate lifecycle management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements-gathering skills.
  • Ability to write clear, detailed functional requirements and design documents.
  • Experience guiding configuration decisions and supporting delivery activities.
  • Knowledge of recruiting ecosystem touchpoints including job postings, candidate sourcing, and application tracking.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with Phenom or similar candidate sourcing platforms.
  • Preferred: Workday Recruiting certification.
  • Preferred: Business process design and optimization experience.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of HR compliance and recruiting best practices.
