About the unit

With 2 floors and 165 beds we are able to provide care for long term care residents and post-acute rehab patients. Nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and the population you will be serving. It has a long term care unit and a rehab unit. Each floor has designated units that focus on patient specialties, such as general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries and cancer. Offers integrated services with a common mission: to provide goal orientated, compassionate care while living a healthy and active life to the greatest level possible.

About Rehab and Nursing Center-Kentridge

We are located on a 10-acre campus. Our indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to provide opportunities for improving independence, strength, and confidence. Two main floor courtyards provide outdoor space for rest and renewal. Most patient rooms are private, and have an attached bathroom and shower, television with cable, phone, and a large window. Each unit has a large and accessible living and dining space, and a menu-based meal service is provided.

Scope of work

Responsible for the overall support services for staff scheduling process. Must be able to communicate well with staff. Performs the scheduling function as directed. Works collaboratively with other personnel in matters related to scheduling coverage aspects of patient care. Assists with patient scheduling function as needed. Completes all functions of the staff scheduling process (i.e. block schedule, vacation calendar etc.). Transcribes scheduling information, staff schedules in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course

  • CRT-Nursing Assistant - Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Community and Health Systems within 90 days

  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
