We are looking for an experienced Workday Systems Analyst for our corporate office located in Brookwood, Alabama. We expect this person to be a role model for the "Warrior Way" and uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.

About the Role:
This Workday Analyst will play a key role in optimizing our HR, payroll, and financial processes through the Workday platform. As a Workday Business Analyst, you will support and partner with all departments to identify business needs, provide technical solutions, reporting, security administration, and implementation.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the business and the technical teams, providing expertise on the Workday platform.
  • Analyze current business processes and workflows related to HR, payroll, finance, and identify opportunities for improvement and automation within Workday.
  • Configure and maintain Workday modules, including core HR, payroll, talent management, recruiting, time tracking, and others as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and configure Workday to meet business needs.
  • Conduct data analysis, reporting, and provide insights to inform decision-making.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for Workday configurations, processes, procedures, and audit requirements.
  • Troubleshoot Workday-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Assist in Workday system upgrades, testing, and deployment of new functionalities.
  • Train and support end-users on Workday functionality, offering guidance on best practices.
  • Stay current with Workday updates and new features to recommend enhancements to optimize system performance.
  • Some travel may be required.

Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Workday Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday modules, including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of HR, payroll, and finance business processes.
  • Proficiency in Workday reporting tools and experience in building reports and dashboards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to pass the required drug test and physical.

Environment and Safety:
  • Improve on safety standards by holding safety meetings, conducting safety interactions, and taking corrective action where required.
  • Ensure adherence to State, Federal and Company workplace policies and standard work procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control.
  • Maintain a high level of Safety performance through effective communication, monitoring, and revision of standard work procedures.
  • Identify and report safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries, and property damage at the workplace.
  • Attend and participate in all scheduled safety meetings and training.
  • Investigate accidents and near misses with a view toward positive action, through training, equipment set-up or equipment repair and report on findings and conclusions.
  • Maintain environmental awareness amongst the workforce by holding meetings and involving the environmental department in related subjects.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental policy, work standards, management plans and regulatory obligations and requirements.
  • Integrate environmental policies, programs, and practices into all activities of the organization.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to walk short distances, and/or drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials.
  • Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, and/or stoop for office equipment or materials.
  • Must be able to climb up and down stairs/steps and climb on and off equipment and ladders.
  • Must be able to do repetitive hand and wrist motions (push, pull, twist, handle), and have quick reflex movements of the arms and legs as well as good hand to eye coordination.
  • Must be able to lift office materials up to 25lbs.
  • Must be able to wear the required protective footwear, hearing and eye protection, and other personal protective equipment as required by Company and MSHA.
