As an OTF Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for delivering scientifically predesigned workouts for up to 36 clients per session. This position requires a strong ability to coach and manage time and motivate multiple clients in a group setting. An OTF Coach must focus on a well rounded theory of fitness, including endurance and strength and power, using the tools given to optimize the client's experience and results.
Personal training credentials are a MUST to be considered for this position. We are looking for qualified fitness professionals who can bring energy and enthusiasm in a group training setting! Trainer must have the technical and tactical knowledge to safely teach group interval programs and must be coachable. The ability to coach in a dynamic and inspirational manner in a group setting is a key component of this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ensure safety of participants in regards to heart rate and exercise technique
· The OTF Trainer/Coach will lead up to 36 participants through 60-minute OTF-specific group training sessions
· Energize and motivate clients throughout the sessions
· Build OTF attendance and retain current clientele
· Responsible for the safety of your participants in regards to heart rate, exercise technique, posture and spine, as well as joint stress and stability when resistance training
· Responsible for organization and cleanliness of the training floor as well as other areas of the studio when needed
· Responsible for marketing your OTF training services inside and outside the OTF studio. Examples include marketing events with your OTF team, corporate events, tents and tables, etc.
· Responsible for group training program design and lesson plans to be viewed by your Head Trainer each week.
· Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels
· Attend monthly fitness staff meetings and all relative, mandatory webinars and other requested corporate meetings and continuing education presentations
· Handle member concerns/feedback in a professional, objective manner with the goal of resolution and retention.
· Assist Sales Associates with OTF studio tours/sales with new prospects as well as staying abreast of current service offerings
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
· Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique and body mechanics
· Ability to multi-task and stay organized while training up to 36 clients in one group training session
· Must have the ability to progress and regress exercises on the fly, in real time
· Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
· Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels—novice to elite
· Must be flexible and willing to work weekends when needed as requested by your Studio Manager and/or Head Trainer
· MUST hold current fitness certification from an OTF approved education company--one of these: CSM, NASM, ACE, NSCA and AFAA.
· Must invest 10+ hours per year in continuing education lectures and workshops outside of OTF curriculum
· Bachelor’s degree in an exercise related field is preferred
· CPR/AED certification
· 1+ years of experience teaching groups or personal training in the fitness industry
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Must be able to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs
