JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of the warehouse and storage yard while ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of customer equipment, materials, and inventory. This position provides operational leadership for warehouse personnel, inventory management, logistics coordination, asset protection, facility operations, and equipment management in support of customer projects.

Working closely with the Warehouse Project Manager, the Warehouse Manager ensures that customer equipment and project materials are received, stored, tracked, staged, and delivered according to project schedules and customer requirements. While the Warehouse Project Manager provides project oversight and customer coordination, the Warehouse Manager leads the execution of warehouse operations and is responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment that reflects ProLift Rigging's commitment to safety, operational excellence, and customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Warehouse Operations
  • Lead all daily warehouse and storage yard operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, material staging, shipping, and material handling.
  • Ensure customer equipment and materials are properly received, inspected, documented, stored, protected, and distributed.
  • Coordinate warehouse labor, equipment, and storage capacity to support operational and project requirements.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and operational readiness.
  • Monitor warehouse performance and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Project Coordination
  • Partner with the Warehouse Project Manager to establish operational priorities, allocate resources, and support project execution.
  • Participate in project planning activities and provide recommendations regarding warehouse operations, inventory availability, and logistics support.
  • Adjust warehouse priorities as project schedules and customer requirements evolve.
  • Communicate warehouse readiness, staffing levels, inventory availability, and operational risks to project leadership.
Inventory & Asset Management
  • Maintain accountability for all customer-owned and company-owned inventory, materials, and equipment.
  • Oversee inventory control processes, cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, and asset tracking.
  • Ensure inventory records remain accurate and investigate discrepancies to determine root causes and corrective actions.
  • Ensure customer equipment is properly identified, labeled, documented, stored, and protected throughout the project lifecycle.
Safety & Compliance
  • Promote ProLift Rigging's Safety First culture throughout all warehouse operations.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, customer requirements, and industry standards.
  • Conduct warehouse safety inspections and lead routine safety meetings.
  • Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and ensure employees receive required training and certifications.
  • Promote safe operation of forklifts, lifting equipment, rigging equipment, and material handling equipment.
Customer Service & Logistics
  • Coordinate warehouse activities with customers, vendors, transportation providers, and internal project teams.
  • Ensure equipment and materials are properly staged and available to support project schedules and customer commitments.
  • Assist in resolving inventory, logistics, and operational issues.
  • Oversee warehouse equipment inspections, preventive maintenance activities, facility maintenance, and asset protection initiatives.
Leadership
  • Supervise Warehouse Leads, Warehouse Associates, and other assigned warehouse personnel.
  • Provide employee coaching, training, development, and performance management.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Support workforce planning, staffing strategies, and employee development in partnership with the Warehouse Project Manager.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Five to seven years of warehouse, logistics, transportation, or operations experience.
  • Minimum of three years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics coordination, and operational performance.
  • Experience leading warehouse teams and developing employees.
  • Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments, including frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and conducting facility inspections.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds, with heavier items moved using proper equipment or assistance.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and industrial environments.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites and company locations.
