Job Description:
The Vice President (VP) of Data Strategy and Insights will serve as a leader within Snow Companies' Strategy and Insights offering, providing strategic direction across data, analytics, research, and patient engagement. The VP must exercise sound judgment, manage competing priorities, solve complex problems, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while staying current on pharmaceutical regulatory, compliance, data, and analytics trends.
The VP will lead collaboration across clients, internal teams, partners, and vendors, translating patient and caregiver needs, industry trends, and business objectives into actionable strategies and insights.
The VP will manage a team of strategists, insights researchers, and data analysts and connect patient journeys and engagement strategies to measurable KPIs that demonstrate patient and business impact. Using qualitative and quantitative insights, the VP will identify opportunities to strengthen Snow's offerings and optimize client patient engagement initiatives.
As with all Snow employees, the VP must demonstrate compassion and sensitivity to the experiences of patients and caregivers and establish standards for incorporating those perspectives into client strategies and solutions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Vice President, Data Engagement Strategy, must be able to perform the following essential duties and functions:
- Work with SVP to define, evolve and scale Snow's data engagement team, Snow's technical and functional approach to analytics and measurement, how Snow illustrates return-on-engagement and omnichannel program impact, and Snow's performance optimization offerings
- Translate client objectives, patient journeys, research, accessibility, and experience needs into client program KPIs, measurement frameworks, dashboards, and optimization strategies
- Lead and provide senior oversight of the democratization of data, data visualization, storytelling, dashboarding, reporting, and performance measurement across the organization
- Develop and present actionable insights, strategic recommendations, performance reviews, and optimization roadmaps to clients and executive stakeholders
- Partner across Strategy, Experience Design, Creative, AI/Digital, Technology, Account, Programs, and Operations to activate insights and advance segmentation, predictive analytics, personalization, and testing and optimization of reporting tools
- Support proposals, RFPs, SOWs, pricing, scoping, timelines, resourcing, and project planning
- Establish benchmarks, standards, tools, case studies, thought leadership, and scalable data engagement offerings while mentoring and developing team members
- Ensure work aligns with healthcare compliance, pharmaceutical, privacy, regulatory, digital, and platform requirements
- Own complex projects through completion, delegate effectively, and maintain accountability for outcomes
- Foster a collaborative, curious, accountable, and continuously improving team environment
Qualifications & Skills
- 8+ years of related healthcare and/or pharmaceutical experience preferred
- Strong strategic, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data and experience into sound recommendations
- Proven ability to develop evidence-based, visually compelling deliverables with actionable insights
- Collaborative, creative, entrepreneurial leader who thrives with autonomy, adapts quickly, and drives continuous improvement
- Working knowledge of experience design, patient journey mapping, user research, accessibility, and service design, with the ability to connect patient experiences to KPIs and measurement frameworks
- Experience leading teams, priorities, and deadlines with minimal day-to-day guidance
- Expertise in data visualization, business intelligence, dashboarding, and executive-level data storytelling using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Domo, and Salesforce
- Strong understanding of CRM, marketing automation, program, email, and call center data, including segmentation, consent, data quality, integrations, KPI governance, and reporting
- Ability to translate Salesforce, CRM, marketing, program, and engagement data into actionable insights and client-ready performance narratives
- Working knowledge of digital marketing, paid and organic media, web analytics, social platforms, and measurement tools
- High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
Documentation and Reporting:
- Document SOWs, invoices, and project tracking for all client work
- Independently prepare visual reports and analyses of client and industry trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions
- Report on monthly performance measures for digital properties

Weekend and Night Work:
Although your day-to-day work should primarily take place during regular office hours, there will be occasions when you are required to work late into the evening and/or over the weekend. Candidates selected for the VP, Data Strategy and Insights position should have the expectation that the workload and nature of the work will require hours that may extend past the business hours of the company (8:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday). This includes working on the weekends.
Flexibility:
The core business hours that you work may change based on business needs. Candidates need to understand this and expect that their shifts may change from time to time.
Collaboration/Teamwork:
The size and nature of our company will require that you work in collaboration with other team members. Candidates must demonstrate their willingness/ability to step into other roles as needed to drive the success of the company. Candidates will need to demonstrate their ability to be contributing members of a team that has goals that are broader than an individual job description or function.
Language Skills/Communication:
Candidates must have the ability to read and comprehend general documents relating to the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry that include but are not limited to medical education, medical periodicals, clinical trial data, package inserts, medical procedures, industry regulations, and reimbursement/tax guidelines. Candidates must have the ability to prepare and present business reports and correspondence. Candidates will have demonstrated their ability to effectively and professionally communicate with managers, clients, customers, Ambassadors, and the general public. Working with patients requires the candidate to exercise discretion and empathy as patients are living with chronic conditions. Fluency in a foreign language is a plus.
Travel:
Travel is a part of this position. From time to time, it may be necessary to travel to support the team/complete job tasks. Candidates must be able to accommodate the specific travel requirements of their role.

Patient Privacy:
The core of our business is working with patients, caregivers, and advocacy groups. It is most likely that you will come in contact with Personal Health Information (PHI) of patients living with chronic illness. It may be required that you take training courses that include, but are not limited to:
- Snow Privacy Training
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Training
- Adverse Event (AE) Reporting Training
- U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Training
