Job Description - Senior Business Development Manager (video game consoles and accessories)

Summary

We are seeking Senior Business Development Managers at Goertek Santa Clara office to work on consumer electronics and gaming related products, especially the accessories for the next-generation game consoles. The roles will be responsible for developing ecosystem partnerships based on the company goals that will promote business growth and customer satisfaction for the organization. This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict other tasks that may be assigned.

Responsibilities

       Developing ODM/JDM/CM business and generating leads to achieve the organization goals.

       Prioritizing the requirements or requests from customers and turn them into executable MRD/PRD.

       Developing product strategies based on customer's needs, market research and competitive analysis.

       Making product or service proposals to communicate with the customers for design-in collaboration.

       Building ecosystem partnerships with chipset vendors, game engines and cloud gaming providers.

       Working with cross-functional teams to bridge both customers and internal support teams.

 

Requirements

       Bachelor's degree is required. MSEE/MSCS/MSME or MBA is a plus.

  •        8+ years of product management experience and 3+ years of business development experience.

       Must have experience handling tier-one customers in a consumer electronics high-tech environment.

       Connections to PlayStation or XBOX teams for video game consoles and accessories is desired.

       Experience managing projects for game accessories (e.g., controllers, headsets) or IoT development.  

       Manufacturing or product/project management experience at leading OEM/ODM/CM is a plus.

       In-depth understanding of video gaming industry and insights to the market/technology trends.

       Knowledge of AR/VR/MR/XR product design, video, audio, Wi-Fi/Blue-tooth, MCU and GPU.

       Experience responding RFQ and breaking down the BOM cost structure to make proposals.

       Strong presentation, oral/written communication, analytical skills and attention to detail.

       Fluent in conversational Mandarin is highly desired.

       The base pay range for this role is between $111,429.00 to $177,840.00 annually and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
