Summary of Position
Nexon America is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to join our Western MapleStory Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing schedules, and facilitating communication across internal developers and external partners. You will specifically support the Global MapleStory Classic World project, helping ensure the team stays aligned with milestones, resolves issues efficiently, and maintains momentum throughout the development lifecycle.
We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the project roadmap, milestone schedules, and Jira workflows
  • Produce regular status & risk reports; proactively escalate and resolve issues
  • Facilitate meetings, take action driven notes, and ensure timely follow up
  • Allocate resources effectively and adjust plans as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager or Producer in game or software development (video game industry preferred)
  • Bonus: Experience leading cross-departmental coordination or shipping a live title

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Project Management, Game Development, Computer Science, or a related field

Knowledge/Skills
  • Required
    • Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
    • Solid experience with Jira and a good understanding of Agile workflows and game development pipelines
    • Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure and effective stakeholder management
    • Professional fluency in Korean and English (both written and verbal)
  • Preferred
    • Passion for and experience playing Global MapleStory or earlier versions of the game
    • Prior experience in cross-cultural or international game development environments

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (annually)
The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. An individual's pay is determined by factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, experiences, relevant education or training, and location.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, however the salary range listed in this job posting reflects the base salary only.
