Overview

Job Summary: The Assistant Vice President, will do significant work in partnership with our Liability clients to consistently deliver superior customer service and own outcomes by effectively communicating and embracing new challenges to drive success. Identify the right resources, at the right time and in the right place. Think critically, solve problems, plan and prioritize activities.


How you'll make an impact
  • Make an impact in helping Gallagher Bassett meet strategic goals, including dedication to delivering excellent customer service and cultivating our culture.
  • Collaborate with clients, carriers, brokers, Account Management and Sales to cultivate relationships and elevate our expertise in the market.
  • Be an advocate of Gallagher Bassett's culture and values inspiring others to reach beyond expectations!
  • Play a pivotal role in making progress by building and leading the best team in the business, ensuring precise and consistent execution, and helping evolve the operating model to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Successfully execute our vision and mission by providing high quality and efficient service. Lead a branch and supervise other Branch Managers.
  • Drive hiring, training, and quality to nurture a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Define area and branch goals and motivate performance at the highest level.
  • Use Gallagher's analytics, technology, and metrics to enhance team efficiency and quality.
  • Effectively manage multiple competing priorities, identify coaching opportunities and position team members for successful development.
  • Other duties as assigned

About You

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 15 years related claims experience
  • At least 8 years of supervisory experience
  • Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled
  • Knowledge of all team member related functions

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
