Job description

Join the Detroit Tigers as a Treasury Seasonal Assistant and gain hands-on experience in corporate finance and treasury operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to key financial processes while developing your skills in cash management, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. The duration of the role will be September 2026-April 2027. The hours will be flexible and could vary between 20-40 hours per week and we are willing to work around class schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of treasury reports to provide insight into financial performance and risks.
  • Assist with daily cash management activities.
  • Manage Colleague Expense Reports.
  • Manage Bank Settlement Reference information.
  • Assist Treasury Manager with tasks from the Treasurer.
  • Support A/R and A/P.
  • Align Detroit Tigers Bank User Entitlements with IHI Treasury.

Qualifications:
  • Current or recent enrollment in an undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work degree in finance, economics or equivalent in a similar field
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
  • Possess the highest integrity and ethical standards.
  • A candidate will be successful in this role if they can demonstrate a willingness to learn with a proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement.
