Adult Education ESL Instructors plan and deliver standards-based instruction to adults who speak or read English less than well in in-person classrooms. Instructors integrate digital literacy and workplace skills into all classes. Instructors accurately collect, record and submit class attendance and assessments in a timely manner. This position will be seated at Millbrook High School on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm-8pm.
Compensation:
The hourly pay rate for this position is $33.72. The position is part time and as such cannot exceed 29 hours per week and is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However, the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies..

Experience administering online academic and language assessments for the purpose of evaluating student progress for meeting academic learning targets
Experience accurately reporting student data into an online system in a timely fashion.
Experience developing and implementing individual student learning plans
Able to follow the policies of the regional adult education program.
Able to work independently and follow policies of host facility.
Able to respond to student and staff email within 24 hours.
Experience working with non-traditional students
ESL instructors need experience teaching English language learners at various levels.
