Job description

Description and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Associate Director of Admission Operations and Marketing, the Operations Assistant/Assistant to the Vice President assists with operational components of the admission process. In addition to operations responsibilities, this position will assist the Vice President of Enrollment with administrative tasks one day per week and special projects as needed.

Specific Operations Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage bulk mailings, including running data lists, updating addresses, and tracking inventory.
  • Monitor Office of Admission email inboxes for both undergraduate and graduate admissions.
  • Review admission decision letters for accuracy and quality control.
  • Track invoices with Finance Office and submit orders as needed.
  • Assign daily tasks to student workers.
  • Assist with data auditing of student records to ensure data accuracy.
  • Other duties as assigned by Associate Director of Admission and Marketing.

Specific VP responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage of VP of Enrollment outlook calendar.
  • Special projects as assigned by VP of Enrollment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree preferred and/or 3-5 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experiences from which comparable skills and knowledge were acquired.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications, as well as proficiency maintaining database systems and generating excel and database reports.
  • Experience with CRM software a plus.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with prospective students, current students, and other office staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with some night and weekend shifts required.
