As Assistant Controller at Conga, you will play a key leadership role within the accounting organization, supporting the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting. You bring 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or industry experience within a SaaS or technology company. You have deep knowledge of US GAAP and experience managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

You have experience leading and mentoring accounting teams, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement. You're comfortable rolling up your sleeves while also developing others.
Technical accounting expertise.
You have a strong understanding of key accounting areas, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), accruals, and financial reporting. You are able to research and apply accounting guidance as needed.
Operational excellence
You have a track record of improving accounting processes and implementing scalable solutions. You understand how to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while maintaining strong controls and accuracy.
Initiative
You are proactive and take ownership of outcomes. You identify opportunities, propose solutions, and follow through to execution without waiting for direction.

Listed below is the U.S. base salary range for this full-time position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, or training. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a variable incentive pay component, perks such as flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance.
The posted salary ranges are for the expectations outlined in the job description. We are often open to a wide variety of profiles and sometimes have flexibility within our organizational structure to adjust the role responsibilities up or down should we select a candidate that is less or more experienced than the posted job requirements. In these occasional cases, we will communicate the revised salary range to the candidate during the selection process.
