Job Description:

As one the area’s largest local technology companies, we have been servicing Nevada, New Mexico, and Montana for nearly 25 years. We are looking for a Project Management Assistant to grow our project management team with an organized, skilled, and self-motivated person. We are a team-oriented company and need an individual who will “do the right thing”, enjoys the challenge of learning and can appreciate working within our set of core values-Character, Competence, Curiosity, and Commitment. We are looking for a PMA to join our team and support the organization, while providing direct assistance to the Project Managers to help ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.

Duties/Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Works directly with entire PM team helping with administrative duties including:
  • Submittals
  • Drawings – As-builts
  • Job packages – Job Folders
  • Material Procurement
  • Schedules
  • Job Kickoff – Assist and develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Closeout meetings - Conduct project post mortems and create recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful projects
  • Billing – Schedule of values
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope
  • Job update reporting
  • Test results
  • Other project administrative work
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion
  • Work within schedules and plans of operation for projects in close consultation with the Project Manager.

Skills Required

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task a must.
  • Excellent communication and leadership.
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft programs
  • Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must have an obsession with details
  • Experience in project management or a similar support role within the construction, electrical, or low voltage contracting industry.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must have great time management
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to travel 

Skills Preferred

  • Knowledge of ProCore software.
  • Knowledge of BlueBeam.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
