Description

The Technical Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of the technical team, ensuring all arcade and game equipment is maintained in top condition. This role ensures high-quality service, guest satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The Technical Manager sets performance standards, drives continuous improvement, and fosters a positive, safety-focused work environment.


Key Responsibilities


Leadership & Supervision


 Supervise, train, and develop Technicians and Technical Assistants

 Conduct interviews, performance reviews, and assist in hiring and terminations

 Provide coaching, progressive discipline, and recognition as needed

 Ensure consistent communication, feedback, and quarterly performance check-ins

 Foster collaboration across departments and represent the team in internal meetings


Operations & Maintenance


 Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain arcade games and attractions

 Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules

 Ensure all equipment meets company and safety standards

 Track and control parts inventory; minimize downtime and expenses

 Monitor and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

 Lead by example by working shifts and supporting peak hours as needed


Customer Service & Quality


 Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally

 Ensure a superior guest experience by keeping games in excellent condition

 Uphold company values in service delivery and presentation

 Support compliance with quality assurance programs and safety protocols


Additional Duties


 Support other locations with game moves or operational improvements

 Assist in company initiatives and projects as assigned by the General Manager

Requirements


 High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred

 Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a technician or in a similar role
