Role Summaryย 

As our Sales Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the sales and operations teams in order to deliver the highest level of service to Rand Technology's customers throughout the sales cycle and order fulfillment. Service encompasses responsiveness, professionalism, warmth and care, and work product - all to be exceptionally executed.ย 

This position is an entry level role with room to grow in accordance with the individual's drive and desire to learn the business.ย 

You will be rewarded with full benefits, a base pay and opportunity to earn extra bonus.ย 


ย ** This role is onsite in our Irvine, CA office**


Essential Functions

  • Review open orders, obtain order acknowledgements and work with colleagues to resolve all issues and communicate any and all changes to appropriate personnelย 
  • Enter data into Excel or other platforms as needed
  • Process new sales orders, submit for contract review and follow until CR is submitted to Purchasingย 
  • Complete new customer forms and set-up in databaseย 
  • Obtain price/lead-time quotes for services requiredย 
  • Track invoices, PODs, CoCs, etc.
  • Provide back-up administrative support to Account Managers and other staffย 
  • Answer, screen and route phone calls to the appropriate team member in a timely mannerย 
  • Handle additional projects/duties as directedย

Requirements

Education and/or Experience and Physical Requirementsย 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferredย 
  • At least 4 years of education and work experience (preferably in the electronic components/computer parts industry)ย 
  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPointย 
  • Ability to work in the Irvine office on a full-time basis
