Job DescriptionOverview

The Systems Integration Engineer supports system engineering leads and project engineers with systems engineering and integration activities. This role supports the coordination, implementation, and delivery of systems engineering processes to ensure multidisciplinary systems are effectively integrated and aligned with project requirements, standards, and operational objectives. The role also provides an opportunity to develop knowledge and capability in systems engineering through hands-on project experience and mentorship.

Your role
  • Assist system engineering leads and project engineers with systems engineering and integration activities.
  • Support the development and implementation of systems engineering and integration processes, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Perform analysis to support systems engineering and integration activities.
  • Maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, interface registers, drawings, and test results.
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to support implementation of integration activities.
  • Assist in coordinating project meetings, workshops, and interdisciplinary integration reviews.
  • Contribute to technical deliverables while supporting integration tracking, issue resolution, and project reporting.
About you
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in systems engineering on major rail/transit, infrastructure, or complex systems projects.
  • P.Eng. designation or eligibility for registration (within 12 months) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with design software and project management tools, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts, technologies, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, manage data, prioritize tasks, and work independently or as part of a team.
