Job Summary
The IT Systems Analyst will help solve complex problems relating to computer hardware and software, utilize enterprise systems tools to administer services, as well as provide support for biomedical system integrations, troubleshooting, and workflows.
Essential Job Functions
Technical Support & User Engagement
  • Provide end-user support, fulfilling requests and troubleshooting hardware/software incidents.
  • Address complex technical issues, escalated from Support Services technicians and Service Desk
  • Utilize remote tools and utilities for efficient support resolution, ensuring service level standards of timely response and quality assurance are maintained.
  • Effectively communicate with end-users, providing customer service excellence through expectation management.
  • Educate the user community on best methods and processes for users to self-serve basic troubleshooting, reducing future occurrences and downtime.

Biomedical Support
  • Assist with inventory management of the biomedical device fleet across the organization
  • Facilitate the evaluation, installation, support, and integration of biomedical devices across the clinical environment.
  • Engage clinical stakeholders, peers, and vendor partners to ensure the functionality and workflows of the biomedical equipment provide value to the organization

Systems & Infrastructure
  • Work within Azure infrastructure and provide Office 365 administrative responsibilities
  • Perform cloud-based infrastructure administrative tasks, including Azure Active Directory, File & Print services, DNS, DHCP, Account Provisioning/Deprovisioning, Access Control
  • Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of networking infrastructure; firewalls, switches, etc
  • Troubleshoot basic Network connectivity problems for both wired and wireless configurations.
  • Share customer feedback and suggestions with team members and management

Organizational Expectations

  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional units to ensure the successful delivery of projects and incident resolution.
  • Document incidents and solutions using ITSM systems, contributing to the knowledge base.

Minimum Required Education, Experience & Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in systems analysis or IT support roles.
  • Prior experience working with specialized equipment or advanced peripherals, such as biomedical devices, medical equipment, interfaces
  • Advanced computer literacy skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize critical tasks, by applying organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Verbal communications, listening and phone skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to focus on goals, proactively following up with clients
  • Establish a good relationship with other agents; working together and sharing knowledge is by far one of our department's most valuable strengths.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry-related certifications and training are a plus
  • Previous experience working within a distributed organization with multiple sites
  • Previous experience working within a healthcare or research environment, dealing with sensitive data standard compliance, such as HIPAA, NIST, PII, PCI, etc
  • Previous experience with Electronic Health Records, integrations, or interfaces.
