Job description

The Replay Operator 2 will operate the play back of specific isolated cameras and preproduced elements as directed by the Producer/Technical Director during Memphis Grizzlies games and other live events as needed at FedExForum. He/She is also responsible for records and builds or replays select sources as requested by production personnel.


  • Replay event highlights & sponsored elements on the fly as well as create segments for digital conversions to be distributed;
  • Organize and maintain replay archive during event;
  • Organize and distribute all server content used for recording and playback during control room productions;
  • Assist department in maintaining high level of event production;
  • Assist in post-game archiving and content organization as needed;
  • Report any operational issues immediately to EIC;
  • Other related duties as needed.

  • High School Diploma or GED completed.
  • 2 years’ experience with multi-channel replay systems such as EVS LSM and/or Evertz Dreamcatcher.
  • 1 year experience in a live replay sport environment or In Venue production.
  • Demonstrates a basic knowledge of editing techniques on non-linear systems.
  • Able to perform in a fast high-pressure environment.
  • Able to establish effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and the Internet.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required, particularly during game season.
  • Ability to take direction without follow up.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others whom you have no direct authority over.
  • Strong teamwork and team synergy skills required.
  • Excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills.

Nice to Have:

  • College degree in Radio/TV Film, Communication or Multimedia production.
  • 3 years as video replay technician in live sports environment. 
  • Knowledge and passion for NBA basketball.
