The Senior Digital Designer will work in a collaborative team and advance the brand's e-commerce business, paid and social assets. Support our growing creative needs across domestic and international business, with a focus on sport campaigns. From a skillset standpoint, this role must have strong digital design experience, with basic knowledge in print production. The position requires the ability to concept, produce, proof, test, and troubleshoot effective digital assets that adhere to our brand standards. This position will also be a part of the presentation of final projects to other departments and executives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Design for our monthly digital content and work with the Director of Digital Design to ensure assets are to brand standards.
  • Articulate ideas and push to bring new ideas to the Peter Millar website, email, paid social and other digital assets while adhering to brand standards.
  • Conceive and create design solutions that address both the user's goals as well as business goals.
  • Concept and produce design work for web projects that include, but are not limited to: email campaigns, website/homepage creative updates, web banners, paid social media and more.
  • Develop & assist in identifying strategic web creative to drive site conversion & improved customer (user) experience.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Understand foundational design concepts (i.e. spatial relations & typography), and also be an out of the box thinker to create new experiences within our design aesthetic.
  • Can work effectively in a fast paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities.
  • Understand web technologies as they effect presentation layer options and functionality.
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with other creative designers, copywriters and business owners. Expert knowledge and skills in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Understanding and interest in sport brands and campaigns (golf, football, baseball, etc)

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in Design or equivalent experience in a web design role.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Prior experience working with an athletic, sport or luxury brand is a plus.
