Job description

Job Overview
This position is responsible for supervising employees under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, which includes carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Other responsibilities include: training employees, planning, assigning, directing work and resolving problems.
Hours: Monday through Thursday from 3:30PM-1:30AM
Highlights of your role
  • Plan, schedule, and support preventative maintenance (PM) and related work orders.
  • Lead/mentor the maintenance team in performing day to day maintenance tasks by completing work orders and responding to production issues.
  • Provide feedback to supervisors on maintenance status, as well as email end of shift reports daily.
  • Work efficiently with work order system (EAM) to document repairs and PM maintenance throughout the plant.
  • Perform regular inspections and light repairs on production equipment, assist in machine repairs, and perform daily housekeeping in work areas.
  • Develop and document proper PM procedures (specific tasks, inspections, etc.)
  • Train maintenance team on proper repair procedures.
  • Meet and maintain safety measures and ensure proper personal protective equipment or PPE, is worn by all maintenance personnel whenever required.
  • Will provide feedback to supervisors on maintenance status, and also prepare /email end of shift reports daily.
  • Investigate quality concerns to determine root cause.
  • Prevent quality issues from leaving facility.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
  • Two year technical degree is strongly preferred
  • Two or more years of related experience (including supervision) is required
  • Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient with the use of computer technology (i.e. Enterprise Asset Management software; ADP; Microsoft Office Suite, such as Word, Outlook, and Excel)
