CORE40 is a premier Lagree Fitness studio offering a 40-minute, high-intensity, low-impact workout that combines strength, endurance, cardio, balance, flexibility, and core training on the Megaformer. With multiple locations across San Francisco and Amsterdam, we are passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences while building a strong and supportive fitness community.


Position Overview

CORE40 is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Assistant Studio Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our San Francisco studios. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.


The Assistant Studio Manager will be responsible for managing customer communications, resolving client issues, supporting studio operations, and ensuring that every client interaction reflects the CORE40 brand and values.


Schedule Requirements
  • Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
  • Two consecutive days off will be scheduled during the weekdays.
  • Flexible availability for occasional holiday and special event coverage.


Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Client Experience
  • Manage and respond to customer service emails in a timely, professional, and solution-oriented manner.
  • Resolve client concerns related to memberships, class bookings, waitlists, cancellations, billing, and studio policies.
  • Provide exceptional service that strengthens client loyalty and retention.
  • Escalate complex issues when necessary while maintaining ownership of the client experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions.


Studio Operations Support
  • Assist with daily studio operations to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Support front desk teams and ensure adherence to company policies and service standards.
  • Help monitor studio cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and operational projects as assigned.
  • Collaborate with management to identify opportunities to improve client satisfaction and operational efficiency.


Team Support
  • Work closely with key departments to ensure smooth communication between instructors and clients.
  • Support special events, promotions, and community initiatives.


QualificationsRequired
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the confidence to independently resolve customer concerns.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent with email communication and usage of standard business software.
  • Professional, positive, and solutions-oriented attitude.


Preferred
  • Previous fitness studio, boutique fitness, hospitality, or wellness industry experience.
  • Previous studio management, assistant manager, or front desk leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with fitness studio scheduling and booking systems.
