Job Summary

The Assistant Studio Manager works closely with the Studio Manager to set the tone and model Perspire’s mission, vision, and values. As a key member of the leadership team, this role helps motivate and support team members, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure every guest leaves feeling better than when they arrived.
Assistant Studio Managers are responsible for assisting in four core studio functions:
  • Team Management

  • Member Management

  • Inventory Management

  • Facility Management

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Studio Manager to implement daily SOPs, ensuring staff maintain consistency and meet expectations
  • Train, coach, and support Membership Sales Associates and Studio Assistants
  • Lead by example with a team-first attitude and positive studio culture
  • Act as a communication bridge between the Studio Manager and the team
  • Relay updates, protocol changes, new offerings, and upcoming events
  • Drive strong membership and package sales (measured by conversion % and sales charts)
  • Engage with guests and maintain high visibility on the studio floor
  • Resolve guest concerns and account issues with empathy and professionalism
  • Educate guests on the science and benefits of infrared sauna, chromotherapy, and Red Light therapy
  • Ensure front desk systems and studio operations are followed, including check-ins, calls, consent forms, tours, and Mindbody usage
  • Perform and document weekly/monthly inventory orders and facility inspections
Qualifications

  • Prior team management experience required

  • 2+ years of sales experience; 3+ years in customer service (wellness/spa/fitness preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • Goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets
  • Calm and resourceful with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Flexible schedule with availability for evenings and weekends
  • Highly reliable, organized, and collaborative
  • Passionate about health and wellness
  • Mindbody Software experience is a plus
