Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on, and results-driven Store Supervisor to oversee operations across multiple liquor store locations. This role is responsible for supporting store performance, maintaining operational standards, supervising store teams, and helping ensure each location delivers excellent customer service, strong sales, and accurate inventory control.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in liquor retail, understands store operations, knows how to lead teams, and can move between locations as needed to maintain consistency, accountability, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
  •  Supervise daily operations across assigned liquor store locations. 
  •  Support Store Managers and Assistant Managers in maintaining company standards. 
  •  Monitor store appearance, cleanliness, organization, and merchandising. 
  •  Ensure shelves, coolers, and displays are properly stocked and presented. 
  •  Help oversee inventory control, cycle counts, receiving, transfers, and shrink prevention. 
  •  Verify that pricing, promotions, signage, and product placement are accurate. 
  •  Train, coach, and support store employees on service, compliance, and operating procedures. 
  •  Help manage employee scheduling, attendance, punctuality, and shift coverage. 
  •  Step into stores as needed to provide operational support and leadership. 
  •  Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve results. 
  •  Assist in resolving customer concerns in a professional and timely manner. 
  •  Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards. 
  •  Ensure all stores follow alcohol sales laws, ID-checking procedures, and compliance requirements. 
  •  Report operational issues, staffing concerns, inventory problems, and maintenance needs to upper management. 
  •  Conduct regular store visits, audits, and follow-up reviews to ensure execution. 
  •  Support new store initiatives, promotions, seasonal resets, and operational rollouts. 
Qualifications
  •  Previous experience in liquor store retail required. 
  •  Previous supervisory or multi-unit retail experience preferred. 
  •  Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and related retail operations. 
  •  Ability to lead teams and hold employees accountable. 
  •  Strong communication and problem-solving skills. 
  •  Good organizational and time-management skills. 
  •  Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. 
  •  Ability to travel between multiple store locations. 
  •  Basic computer and reporting skills. 
  •  Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed. 
Preferred Skills
  •  Experience with inventory management and loss prevention. 
  •  Experience training and developing store teams. 
  •  Strong merchandising and execution skills. 
  •  Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and correct them quickly.
