We are looking for an experiencedSenior Account Executive to provide internal strategic support and to manage external communication with partners and clients. The SAE will provide OM strategy teams with real-time marketplace insights to inform communications planning and will lead in the development and implementation of sports-focused sponsorship and media strategies designed for clients to create customized multi-platform programs. Externally, the Senior Account Executive manages relationships across the sports media and property marketplaces with the ultimate goal of maximizing partnership value.
Media Planning
  • Work with agency partners to develop holistic sports strategy in the upfront and across campaigns that ties into overall brand strategy
  • Support Strategy teams with actionable insights across media channels
  • Provide overviews and trends of current sports rights and consumption trends across properties
  • Maintain budget trackers and flowcharts for internal and client facing reporting
  • Assist in ad hoc planning requests based on client briefs and new opportunities

Program Development
  • Assist with sports idea generation within agency team while facilitating client-facing sell through
  • Work with clients/networks/leagues to develop custom integrations or alter existing elements to fit within overall program
  • Aid in determination of optimal asset mix + branding elements within sponsorship proposals
  • Employ strategies and tactics across multi-platform partnerships that deliver on KPIs

Program Execution
  • Implementation, tracking, and valuation of cross-channel media and partnership activation
  • Lead timeline tracking and internal/external approvals
  • Construct and present impactful program recaps designed to optimize future strategy and tactics alongside the Marketing Science team

Qualifications
  • Passion for sports and experience working within sports marketing and/or media landscape preferred
  • Experience with sports media partners, leagues, teams, athletes preferred
  • 2 years+ in the sports marketing/media industry, with an understanding of how to plan and execute multiple media channels and sponsorship types
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple lines of communication, track and maintain robust budgets, and prioritize many simultaneous deliverables
  • Extremely strong communicator, both written and verbal, in-person and online
  • Creative thinker who has the ability to develop unique ideas, solutions, and programs
  • Strong background in client services and account management

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range
$40,000-$75,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
