Job description

Job Title: Tesla Solar Installer
Position Summary:
Join SunVena as a Tesla Solar Installer, where you will play a crucial role in installing residential rooftop solar systems. Your primary responsibilities will encompass installing and maintaining solar systems while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards. This role requires teamwork, construction experience, comfort working on roofs/heights, and the ability to travel overnight as required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the team to install racking systems and solar panels on residential roofs.
  • Bend, cut, and fabricate metal for Tesla Solar Roof
  • Dry-in roof in preparation for Tesla Solar Roof
  • Assemble solar panels, arrays, and necessary supporting structures.
  • Adhering to construction regulations and standards while installing and maintaining panels and their supporting structures.
  • Assisting Foreman and Electrician in effectively servicing and maintaining Tesla Solar panels during installation.
  • Perform repairs in compliance with local, state, and OSHA regulations.
  • Provide service and maintenance for solar systems when required.
  • Deliver high-quality installations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Promote heat exhaustion awareness and ensure team members follow proper safety protocols.
  • Willingly travel out of town to various job sites to facilitate solar installations.
  • Ensure vehicles are clean and well-prepared for daily use.
  • Occasionally assist in organizing equipment in the warehouse.
  • Adhere to all PPE and safety regulations according to OSHA and company standards.
  • Complete any additional tasks as directed by leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Possess 1 to 2 years of construction experience, with preference given to candidates with Tesla solar experience.
  • Capable of working effectively as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working on rooftops/heights
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 40 to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record for insurability, as this position requires driving.
  • Able to travel on overnight installations out of town as required.
