Key job responsibilities
You will be a high-performing software engineer building a unified intelligent workbench that consolidates fragmented systems into an AI-powered platform. This role offers an opportunity to work at the forefront of agentic AI and distributed systems, building transformative products from scratch.
Your Impact:
Invent AI-native solutions that enable services to Amazon that have never been done before, addressing complex problems unique to our international customers
Design and implement AI-native backend services integrating enterprise CRM systems with operational platforms using AWS cloud platform and its many products
Build intelligent automation capabilities across core business modules including AI assistants, communication management, contact management, and workflow orchestration
Develop agentic workflows that eliminate manual tasks and enable users to focus on strategic relationship building
Architect highly scalable solutions serving thousands of users across multiple regions with specialized requirements
Apply AI-Driven Lifecycle (AIDLC) methodology to achieve 10x productivity improvements across the entire delivery lifecycle
Partner with Applied Science teams to incorporate generative AI capabilities
Deliver features with 25%+ productivity gains through properly groomed requirements and AI-first thinking
Own systems architecture end to end and influence the direction of technology that impacts hundreds of millions of customers around the world
About the team
This team is building a unified platform that will serve thousands of users supporting millions of sellers globally. Our goal is to create a seamless global shopping experience for all Amazon Customers and Sellers worldwide.
This is a highly distributed team working collaboratively on a system that consolidates comprehensive requirements into a single, intelligent workbench. The team is organized around core business verticals with an Orchestration Layer creating dynamic workflows for intelligent automation.
You'll work alongside SDEs, Data Engineers, platform developers, and Applied Scientists who are pioneering AI-first development approaches and achieving measurable productivity gains.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 3+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
- 3+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
