Job description

Markon is seeking a Security Project Manager to support one of our Intelligence Community customers. This individual will assist the government Program Management Office (PMO) with security project management, construction security management, security requirements development, stakeholder engagement, field inspections, and status reporting for the PMO.  This role requires day-to-day owner representation and coordination with construction contractors to integrate other government contracts (OGCs). The Security Project Manager must be highly proficient with construction drawings, specifications, and standard security industry practices. 


• Serves as the alternate contact for all security related matters regarding the MILCON program 
• Assist the Lead Security Embed with overseeing the management of construction security operations 
• Assist in developing, modifying, implementing and storing the Construction Security Plans (CSP) per each project 
• Coordinate any security related changes to SEC and MILCON leadership prior to implementation 
• Review’s, design/construction drawings, RFI’s, submittals, and any project/contract related changes and provides security guidance and recommendations 
• Serves as the programs Site Security Manager (SSM) and identifies and reports on any security related violations and deviations from the CSP 
• Assist in managing the construction security contracts, and report on program/project related updates 
• Assist with the approval of Personal Equipment Devices (PED) 
• Assist with site and campus related access for the general/sub-contractors 
• Attend and participate in all project/program related meetings and engagements when required 
• Brief leadership and counterparts on all security related information and updates when applicable 


Required:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of experience managing complex projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Microsoft Project
  • Proficiency with developing project management plans, leading multi-discipline teams of architects and engineers from a variety of organizations, and monitoring/reporting project status
  • Highly skilled in customer service and diverse stakeholder engagement
  • Competent in reading and understanding construction drawings/specifications and knowledgeable in standard construction industry practices

USD $120,000.00 - USD $135,000.00 /Yr.
