Job description

Manage the design and implementation of a variety of physical security integration projects under the Development & Construction team for all new build construction jobs across the US enterprise.
Responsibilities include the management of all day-to-day activities associated with design, budgeting and implementation of the access control and CCTV security systems to ensure an on-time security-live delivery to support key corporate initiatives and/or timely customer deliveries.
Essential Functions:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the company, external vendors and customers to understand, analyze and document business/design requirements related to physical security for new construction builds.
  • Meet with architects and low voltage designers to generate security designs incorporating Corporate Security's standards and customer requirements.
  • Compile projected budgets and pricing for capital requests; prepare regular financial reporting as required throughout the duration of each project.
  • Assist operations and security teams in evaluating alternative processes and solutions while adhering to minimum security & building design standards.
  • Prepare detailed RFPs to engage security vendor; thoroughly vet proposals and generate POs as required to support the entire security scope of work for each project.
  • Utilize project planning tools and techniques to manage scheduling of project resources, key deliverables, and milestones.
  • Ensure that risks and issues are identified and communicated as quickly as possible to key stake holders, analyzed, and remediated to maximize positive results and minimize adverse impacts to the delivery schedule.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal & organizational skills though daily communications with key stakeholders, internal project sponsors, technical teams and numerous external vendors to drive projects towards successful completion.
  • Manage and drive the security device commissioning documentation to closure for a smooth transition of all devices to the Corporate Security & Operations teams.
  • Assist the business by preparing all required documentation for successful turnover of new/expanded security system.
  • Complete the handoff of completed project to the functional business unit for ongoing operations and support.
  • Maintain a library of lessons learned following each project completion.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project or other similar tools
  • Self-starter and self-managed with a problem-solving mindset
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and at, or under, budget
  • Collaborative approach to project management
  • Ability to effectively monitor and enforce project goals and timelines
  • Highly organized and disciplined with proven time management and communication skills
  • Solutions-minded with the ability to adapt schedule to accommodate changing priorities.
  • Must be able to effectively and efficiently collaborate and communicate with others of all levels

Experience/Skills:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in business and/or project management combined
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a leader of personnel
  • Effective time management and communication skills with the ability to organize a workload with complex, competing, priorities
  • Proven ability to handle multiple, construction, or like-projects, simultaneously
  • Experience with physical security integration and/or design (preferred)

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business (preferred)

Work environment:
  • Environment Info
  • Data Center experience preferred
  • Large understanding of security deployment Project Management preferred
  • Vast experience working with construction teams preferred
