In this pivotal role, you will ensure compliance with state regulations while providing exceptional leadership and support to our local security operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the official Security Qualifying Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all state licensing, regulatory, and reporting requirements.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the local security operations team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with state regulators and law enforcement agencies.
  • Support client relations, inspections, audits, and incident response as needed.
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training security professionals.
  • Uphold company policies and the highest ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid qualifying manager License in good standing.
  • Strong understanding of state laws and regulations in the security industry.
  • Must be of good character and reputation
  • Must meet qualifying experience requirements
  • Must submit Livescan fingerprints
  • Must maintain required insurance coverage for the agency
  • Must obtain and maintain the Security Guard Agency license before operating
  • Prior management or leadership experience in security operations preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel within the state as needed.
  • Must be at least 25 years of age and meet all state and federal eligibility requirements.

Maryland recognizes qualifying experience such as:

  • Five years as a full-time police officer
  • Five years as a licensed private detective
  • Three years investigative experience in law enforcement
  • Certain correctional supervisor or fire investigator experience may also qualify
