Job description

Position title : Security Specialist Location : Arlington, Virginia Clearance required : SECRET Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): * Visitor Management & General Administration: Greet and direct visitors, operate office equipment, draft/edit documents, and support meetings/VIP visits. Maintain communication with ONR AOS. * Security Data & Systems Management: Enter sensitive data into security databases (e.g., DISS), maintain databases, and process visit requests/Courier Authorizations (DD Form 2501). * Information & Web Management: Maintain and update the Security Division's website and SharePoint site, acting as content coordinator and POC. * Backup & Liaison Support: Provide backup for Classified Document Control and CAC Issuing Official. Assist Security Division members and liaise with external entities (e.g., PFPA). Qualifications * An associate's degree from an accredited institution and one (1) year as a security specialist OR a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and three (3) years as a security specialist. * Functional knowledge of Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or other automated database system. * Functional knowledge of Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and Real-time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS).
