A prominent Charleston law firm is seeking a legal secretary / assistant to support multiple paralegals and attorneys.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years recent legal support experience in a law firm setting is a MUST.
  • Trucking & Transportation law highly desired.
  • Must have experience providing support to multiple people.
  • Must have good administrative skills including Word, Outlook and type 55 WPM. (assessment tests will be given).
  • Ability to determine work priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to compose correspondence and reports.
  • Proficient with all law firm equipment; Scanner, copier, fax, dictation machine, switchboard, etc...
  • Schedule depositions & mediations.
  • Perform and general clerical duties.
  • Ability to work individually or a team member.
  • Willingness to participate in shared office duties and requirements.
