Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile/Scrum practices and help cross-functional teams deliver high-quality projects on time. The ideal candidate will have strong experience leading Agile teams, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams.

  • Facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies.

  • Coach teams on Agile/Scrum principles, practices, and methodologies.

  • Remove impediments and proactively resolve issues that impact team productivity.

  • Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, QA, and other stakeholders.

  • Track sprint progress, team velocity, burndown, and other Agile metrics.

  • Promote transparency, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.

  • Help teams maintain a healthy and sustainable delivery cadence.

  • Support backlog refinement and ensure stories are adequately prepared for upcoming sprints.

  • Facilitate communication between technical and business teams.

  • Assist Product Owners with prioritization and backlog management.

  • Identify opportunities to improve team processes and Agile maturity.

Required Skills
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Project Manager.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies.

  • Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and managing Agile teams.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and software development processes.

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with distributed and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience tracking Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and sprint progress.

  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or similar Agile certification.

  • Experience working in enterprise IT/software development environments.

  • Experience managing multiple teams or complex projects.

  • Knowledge of Kanban, SAFe, or other Agile frameworks is a plus.

Candidate Requirements
  • Must be able to work in Minneapolis, MN as required by the client.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Must be available for a W2 contract.

  • Pay rate: $35 $40/hr on W2.
