Job description

The overall purpose of the Administrative Assistant position for Crest Health Center is to provide clerical support services to the department in an efficient and safe manner. 
General Responsibilities
•    Prepares and maintains the master schedule for all hourly Crest staff.
•    Back up for payroll processing for Crest Health Center.
•    Various clerical duties as assigned by nursing administration including medical records/scanning.
•    Tracks attendance.
•    Assist with scheduling resident physician appointments.
•    Escorts residents on physician appointments as needed. 
•    Promotes a safe and clean environment.
•    Complies with requirements of procedures for safe lifting.
•    Assures that equipment is clean and functional.
•    Attends all mandatory in-service programs.
•    Assists with incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as may be required to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for the residents, visitors, and staff.
•    Assist in dining rooms, taking residents to activities and the beauty shop.
•    Demonstrates competency in skills mandated by required education and training.
•    Performs other duties as assigned.
 

•    High School graduate or GED equivalent.
•    Possess and maintain nursing assistant certification.
•    Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant. 
•    Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
•    Basic computer skills.
•    Functional literacy in English.
