Sales Project Manager
Location: Riverside
Salary Range: $105,000 - $125,000/year.
Position Summary:
Responsible for coordinating and managing sales projects from initial customer inquiry to final product delivery. This role ensures smooth communication between sales, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to meet customer expectations, project timelines, and budgetary goals. The Sales Project Manager also plays a crucial role in ensuring bid proposals, contracts, and order specifications are executed efficiently within ENC’s bus manufacturing operations
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee sales projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company capabilities.
  • Drives product standardization through coordination with sales, supply chain, operations, engineering, and customer involvement to aid the business in improving the accuracy of information and timeliness of costing.
  • Track project milestones, budgets, and deadlines to ensure successful execution.
  • Work closely with regional sales managers to facilitate large proposals and contract negotiations.
  • Serve as primary liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure project transparency.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to sales leadership and executive teams.
  • Responsible for attaining and improving project margin targets.
  • Assist in process improvement related to sales order execution and project management
  • Monitor order progress and proactively address any production or supply chain issues.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of sales project management principles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of government procurement processes, bid submissions, and contract execution.
  • Familiarity with production planning, supply chain coordination, and customer order management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with customers and support project execution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook) and CRM/project management software.

Education and/or Required Licenses:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales project management, preferably in the transportation or manufacturing industry.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Work Environment:
  • This is an onsite position based in Riverside, CA and requires being 100% onsite.
