About Us

We are partnering with a well-established custom home builder and renovation company that has been serving homeowners since the early 2000's. The company specializes in high-quality custom residential construction and renovations, with a strong focus on craftsmanship, client relationships, and delivering an exceptional experience from the initial consultation through project completion.

With a close-knit team and a collaborative, family-oriented culture, the company is looking for a driven professional who takes ownership, builds strong relationships, and is passionate about both construction and client experience.

About the Role

We are seeking a Sales & Project Development professional to serve as a key connection between prospective clients, design, estimating, and construction.

This role is ideal for someone who understands residential construction, enjoys working directly with clients, is comfortable with numbers and estimating, and has the confidence to lead conversations and guide clients through the decision-making process. The position will focus primarily on sales and estimating, while also providing project leadership and oversight throughout construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with prospective clients to understand their goals, needs, vision, and budget.

  • Qualify projects and guide clients through the sales, design, estimating, and contracting process.

  • Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for referrals and repeat business.

  • Develop detailed scopes of work, budgets, estimates, and proposals that are accurate and profitable.

  • Collaborate with designers and Project Managers to ensure projects align with budget, scope, schedule, and client expectations.

  • Track pricing, allowances, extras, change orders, and project profitability.

  • Provide high-level oversight of active residential projects and conduct regular jobsite visits.

  • Identify and proactively address budget, scope, quality, and scheduling concerns.

  • Maintain accurate project and client information in Buildertrend and other company systems.

  • Use CRM, Buildertrend, AI, and other technology to improve efficiency, communication, and workflows.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in residential construction; experience with custom luxury homes is preferred. Candidates with relevant experience in other construction sectors are also encouraged to apply.
  • Professional sales and client relationship management experience.

  • Experience with residential estimating, budgeting, and scope development.

  • Experience using CRM and/or project management software.

  • Proficiency with Buildertrend or similar construction management software.

  • Strong understanding of numbers, spreadsheets, budgets, and project profitability.

We're looking for someone who is

  • Hungry – motivated to grow, achieve goals, and continuously improve.

  • Humble – open to feedback, willing to learn, and focused on team success.

  • Confident – comfortable leading client conversations and making decisions.

  • Personable – naturally builds relationships and listens carefully to client needs.

  • Organized – able to manage multiple opportunities and projects without losing attention to detail.
  • Proactive – anticipates problems rather than waiting for them to happen.

  • Accountable – takes ownership of responsibilities and follows through.

  • Collaborative – willing to jump in and help the team wherever needed.

  • Technology-minded – interested in using technology to work smarter and more efficiently.
