RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist ProLift Sales Team in creating innovative heavy-lift/heavy-transport solutions.
  • Perform Jobsite walk down with ProLift Sales lead as needed to procure information needed for solution development and/or to improve customer relationships.
  • Provide project engineering support to contracted work as assigned by the Manager.
  • Create support material that aids in the proposal creation or project engineering process. Examples include reference charts, Microsoft Excel templates, writing whitepapers on industry-specific topics, etc.
  • Develop fabrication drawings and perform design calculations according to company and industry standards.
  • Develop load test plans and participate in field testing activities for newly designed equipment
  • Develop an understanding of all facets of the heavy rigging and transportation industry.
  • Function as field technical liaison for critical lifts - includes risk management functions and safety evaluations of projects.
  • Develop documentation for new and existing gear including specification sheets, operating instructions, maintenance requirements, test certificates, repair procedures, cost summaries, spare parts lists, etc.

Required Qualifications:

    • 5 years plus in construction
    • Must have excellent mechanical reasoning
    • Good perception of math applications, weights, measurement, and balance
    • Must be flexible with your schedule, able to travel, and able to work overtime
    • Must pass a drug test, fit for duty assessment, and background check
    • Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
    • Experience using AutoCAD
    • Experience with crane and rigging operations
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

    Education:

    Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering required

    Administrative Skills:

    • Experience with Microsoft Office
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Must be organized, able to multi-task and team-oriented
    • Have attention to detail and be self-motivated
    • Able to plan, organize and execute daily requirements
    • Must possess a valid driver's license
