Job description

We are seeking an experienced Rigger Helper to assist with the safe rigging, lifting, and installation of heavy machinery. This is a local position with some out of state travel required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in rigging, be physically capable of heavy lifting, and be comfortable working in demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in rigging, lifting, and positioning heavy equipment.
  • Secure loads and ensure proper handling of materials.
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
  • Work closely with riggers, operators, and supervisors to complete installations.
  • Maintain and inspect rigging tools and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Prior rigging experience required.
  • Must be able to perform heavy lifting
  • Ability to pass a background check, MVR (Motor Vehicle Report), and drug screen.
  • Comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Millwright or pipefitting experience is a plus.
  • Forklift and/or crane operation experience is beneficial.
