We're proud to be consistently recognized as one of the "Best and Brightest Companies to Work For," a testament to our commitment not only to excellence in construction, but to fostering a workplace where our people can succeed and grow.

We're adding a Construction Estimator to our Preconstruction team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced estimator who enjoys working on a variety of commercial projects and wants to play a key role in winning and shaping upcoming work.

In this role, you'll partner closely with our Director of Preconstruction and Project Managers to develop accurate, competitive estimates across multiple delivery methods. You'll have visibility into high-impact projects and the ability to influence outcomes from the earliest stages.

What You'll Do:
  • Prepare conceptual, negotiated, and competitive bid estimates across multiple project types
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents to define full project scope
  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs and pricing for labor, materials, and general conditions
  • Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor bids
  • Maintain bid schedules and ensure proper coverage across all trades
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and occasionally visit job sites to evaluate conditions
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to support preconstruction and project planning efforts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Ensure adherence to company bidding procedures and quality standards
  • Manage multiple estimates simultaneously (typically 2-3+ projects at a time)
What We're Looking For:
Required
  • 5+ years of estimating experience in ground-up commercial construction
  • Strong experience with Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel (formulas, templates, data organization)
  • Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings across multiple trades
  • Experience preparing detailed, accurate estimates independently
  • Ability to work in-office (hybrid flexibility available; fully remote not an option)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
  • Experience with healthcare, public works, or multifamily projects
  • Familiarity with Procore or similar construction management software
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
Work Environment & Schedule:
  • Primarily in-office with some flexibility
  • Occasional travel to local job sites for pre-bid meetings
If you're an experienced estimator looking for a team where your work directly impacts project success-and where you can continue to grow-we'd love to connect.
