Job Description
  • Defend personal injury matters from intake through resolution
  • Manage case strategy, discovery, law and motion, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents
  • Conduct legal research and develop practical, client-focused recommendations
  • Communicate directly with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, experts, and witnesses
  • Evaluate liability, damages, and exposure and help drive resolution strategy
  • Appear in court, at depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced litigators across related practice areas as needed
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of personal injury defense experience
  • Active California Bar license in good standing
  • Strong litigation, writing, and case management skills
  • Experience handling discovery, depositions, motions, and mediations
  • Trial preparation experience strongly preferred
  • Able to work independently while also collaborating well with a team
  • Strong client communication and practical judgment
