Job Overview:
 
Pay Range: $15hr - $20hr
  • The role involves supporting claims processing operations by entering and managing claim data, handling administrative tasks, assisting with documentation, and providing customer support within a claims management environment.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 6 months of clerical or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience:

  • Clerical or customer service experience required.
  • Experience in claims or insurance environment preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and enter new claims into the claims management system.
  • Input and review notes and diaries in the claims system as instructed.
  • Process payments and handle basic financial transactions.
  • Handle mail processing, filing, faxing, and photocopying tasks.
  • Prepare, review, and send letters, reports, and forms.
  • Answer and make telephone calls and provide customer service support.
  • Schedule medical appointments as required.
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of reports.
  • Perform other assigned administrative and support duties.
  • Support organizational quality programs and initiatives.

Should Have:

  • Experience in administrative or claims support roles preferred.
