Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Responsibilities:

  • Gives direct care as assigned, i.e., bath, shower, oral hygiene, giving and removing bedpans/urinals, personal grooming, and all other hygienic needs
  • Cleans and cares for bedside equipment and the residents' environment, occupied and unoccupied beds, bedside tables, dressers, residents' clothing, and personal belongings
  • Practices safety rules at all times to prevent accidents
  • Assist the nurse in maintaining continuous observation of and assisting residents
  • Conduct resident care rounds, visiting each resident for at least one to two hours
  • Prepare residents for meals, and help or feed residents as needed
  • Completes all documentation before the end of the shift
  • Establishes and maintains a rapport with residents, families, visitors, and all levels of staff

CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid and clear Florida CNA certification number
  • Skilled nursing facility or long-term care experience for senior care is preferred but not required
  • Well versed with documentation writing on Point Click Care (PCC) system; training provided
  • Document patientโ€™s progress on weekly progress notes in a timely fashion
  • Collaborates with all disciplines to provide the best patient-centered treatment and care
  • Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
  • Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism
  • Compliance with confidentiality, HIPPA, and Federal Residents' Rights

Shift: All Shifts

Salary: $16.50 per hour
